When you have a problem with your laptop's display, the problem could be with the LCD display panel or with the flex cable that connects the LCD display to the motherboard. If the display is flickering randomly, it could be the cable issue or loose connection. You may disassemble and try re-seating the cable on the contacts on the motherboard and the LCD display. Also you might need to inspect the LCD Flex ribbon cable and see if there are any wear and tear.

If there is a problem with your laptop keyboard, then you might have to replace it. In some cases, it might just be because of stuck keys. In which case, you can carefully try to resolve the problem by removing the disturbance that is causing the key to stick. In some cases, it may be because of poor contact on the motherboard due to particle deposits on the contacts. The other day, I was making a tutorial video and I had to record the activities performed on a laptop screen. When recording screen activities, I usually use an open source software called "Cam Studio" but this time, the activity involved shutting down the computer. Therefore, I chose to record it with my smartphone in HD mode instead. And I noticed the video had flickers. It is very distracting to look at. I had to remove the flickers otherwise, the video will be unwatchable.

The default Drupal login page at /user/login shows three tabs - Login, Create New Account and Request Password. Using the tabs, a visitor can either login, create a new account or request password. If visitors cannot create accounts on the Drupal website themselves, then the "Create new account" link or tab can be disabled easily from Drupal administration. But when using Profile2 and Profile2 Registration path, the Drupal default "user/register" path lies redundant.
